WHAT. A. GAME.

The Indians came ready to battle today, and boy, did they leave it all out there. From the first pitch to the final out, these boys fought like heck, but unfortunately, it wasn’t quite enough as they fell to the Brownton Bruins, 9–7, in a season-ending battle.

Tanner Neubarth got the nod on the hill and battled through 6 strong innings. Ike Eleven came in relief, and Hayden Molva finished things off on the mound.

The Indians racked up 10 hits on the day, but just couldn’t string enough of them together to keep the momentum rolling.

Heck of a season, boys.

You battled. You believed. You competed. And you gave this community plenty to be proud of.

We’ll see you back on the diamond in May. Until then, enjoy a little time off, hang those hats up, and soak in what you accomplished. You earned it.

And hey, the season isn’t over for the CRVL just yet! Get out there and support the rest of our league teams still chasing that state ticket — and cheer on those who have already punched theirs!

Welp…. Cologne jumped out to an early lead, and the Indians were unable to maintain momentum.

Final: Cologne 10, Indians 4.

We hit some balls. They caught some balls. They scored more runs than we did. I have reviewed the situation and determined that this is not ideal.

That’s baseball. You can’t win ’em all. Unless you win ’em all, in which case, congratulations, you’re probably not us.

Regular season is done… It time for Regions.

Your #7 Norwood Indians take on the #2 Cologne Hollanders on Saturday, August 8 at 3 PM in Glencoe.

Cologne's got the higher seed, and from the sound of it, they think they’ve already won. That's a bold strategy when you've still got nine innings standing in the way.

IT'S GAME DAY.

The Norwood Indians welcome the Green Isle Irish to Zellmann Field tonight.

First pitch: 7:30 PM

Sure, this one doesn't count in the league standings...

But around here, every game counts. Pride counts. Bragging rights count. And reminding the Irish they lost to the Indians...... That definitely counts.

Expect chirping.
Expect questionable umpire opinions.
Expect someone to yell, "He's been doing that all night!" by the third inning.

Turns out the Indians remembered the season wasn't over yet.

They wrapped up the regular season by hanging a 10-spot on the scoreboard and sending the Dutchmen home with an L.
Final score;
Indians 10 - Dutchmen 6

Thank you to our good friends at Dos Hermanos for dominating the concession stand! We knew you’d be amazing!

Tanner neubarth and Hayden Molva took care of things on the mound, while the bats finally woke up and chose to make life miserable for the Dutchmen.

Bennett Molva went 4-for-4. Apparently nobody told him you're allowed to make outs.

Logan Hutchins had 3 hits, 3 RBIs. Just out there handing out base hits like free samples at the grocery store.
