Congratulations, Zackary Lefin-Champagne! Zack recently signed with the Connecticut Junior Rangers in the NCDC League, a Tier II Junior A hockey league with a strong track record of player development for NCAA hockey opportunities.

Welcome, Darya Cecconi! Darya is a competitive and determined goalie who is very disciplined and motivated. She has been playing since she was four years old. She always played for Lugano's team, and has played in many tournaments with Team Ticino in Breassanone, Italy. Last summer, Darya played in the United World Game tournament in Austria with Team Milano. She has been part of the U16 Switzerland National Team. She is ready to improve and give her best, and she chose NHC because she believes it's the right environment for her to grow and improve as a goaltender and have better prospects to play college hockey in the USA or Canada.

Welcome, Brooklyn Cesar! Brooklyn started playing hockey with her local boys club in Colorado at the age of 8. Being the only girl on the team was never a challenge, given her strong hockey IQ and aggressiveness. When she was 14 years old, she joined the Lady RoughRiders AA Team and quickly rose to the top as a leader who is known for her strong work ethic and drive on the ice. Brooklyn can play all positions and makes a difference every time she’s on the ice. She helped secure many wins for her team, including the OT goal that led their path to the High School National Championship. The opportunity to play for Norwich Hockey Club is a dream come true, as she is looking forward to continuing her hockey journey.

Welcome, Sophie Bonner! Sophie has been playing hockey since she was five years old and has always been passionate about the game. She’s hoping to make new friends and help her teammates grow with her on and off the ice.

Welcome, Shae Gausselin! Shae is excited to play for NHC and benefit from high-level coaching and stronger competition. Last season, she played up at 19AA for the Rocky Mountain Lady Roughriders. She also palyed for the Western Selects 2010 AAA tournament team and was a top goal scorer on the Monarch Lady Coyotes. Shae utilizes her high-end speed, edge work and shot to positively impact her team’s overall performance.

Welcome, Evangeline Gurski! Evangeline got started with hockey at age five with the CT Griffin Flames Learn-to-Skate Program. After the pandemic, she joined the Southeastern CT Seahawks. She most recently spent two seasons with Woodstock Academy and a half-season with the MA Lady Minuteman Flames. She’s excited for the opportunity to join a team with exceptional coaches and an environment where she can continue to grow, be challenged and be supported.
