Today I had the opportunity to take a walk around the grounds at Tarka's Whitewater Journey. Actually I was scouting out a location to build the platform and deck for our next "glamping" tent. You can see one such tent in the pictures I've uploaded. It is amazing to me how pretty the little things can be, and how ideal it feels to climb up and away from the busyness below. There is something soothing about sitting on a hillside watching the breeze blow through the grass and being able to see the far off places where that breeze might have come from. Call and book a trip today--enjoy the excitement and thrill of the whitewater, but afterwards take some time and enjoy the quiet thrill of being separated from the every day stresses of life.

Hello Everyone! We are geared up for the summer and wanted to share our rates with you. Call today to book the trip of your choice!

We offer daily trips departing week days at 11am and 3pm. Weekends at 10am and 2pm. Custom departure dates are available--just call Marko at (801)897-9287.

Rates per person are:

Adult (minimum parties of 4) $48
*maximum per boat is 7 persons
Youth (11-17) $43
Private Booking (1-3 people) $55
Special Local Rate (residents of Dickinson, Marinette, and Florence Counties) $35

Camping is available at $5/per person/per night. Pit toilet is available. Currently no showers are available.

Arrive at the campground Friday night. We provide you breakfast, lunch, and dinner while you relax. We will take you rafting through Piers Gorge twice--at 10am and at 2pm. You will be able to experience two different levels on the river and two different styles of river as flows change throughout the day. Dinner Saturday night will be an authentic Nepali dinner prepared by Tarka. We will provide you with breakfast Sunday morning before you go. Rate is $160/person.
