Earlier in the year we saw some information about some quick release fluid fittings, we spent some time talking to Cory at Dyme about the suitability of specific seals and fittings to run in our nitro environment, we worked through a list and just before we headed to the states the first delivery arrived. Over the next couple of months I will share the journey of the installation of this great looking gear. Whilst we were in LA we took the opportunity to go and have a look at their facility and talk to the lads that were not at the high performance expo in Charlotte. Have a look at their socials, great looking gear backed up by testing and certifications.

As we run harder there is more work to do between rounds, clearing the fuel system of Nitro and the oil system of used oil is a painstaking task typically, This season we are changing over to the Dyme fittings on the Animal this is intended to reduce time and create longevity in the connection. You will see the distinctive colour on the car. Have a look at their gear looks and tests very well.

2026 trip to Pro Ignition

Well today we did a “quick” trip up to System 1 to pick up the mag after a service, we had a walk through of the Pro ignition shop with Bob and his team, what a great setup, so much expertise. They suggested we head over and look at the pump and filter side so Mark came over and grabbed us and we walked through that shop and also had a look at Marks cool altered that he has built. We have had the pleasure of running both an ignition system and oil pump and filtration system supplied by these guys now we understand why they work so well.System 1 Filters System 1 Pro Ignition

Took the opportunity to collect some new sleeves from Darton Sleeves while we were in town today. Had a look at the workshop with the guys. Was great to meet the people we deal with on the phone.
