Dance Dimensions

Dance Dimensions offers classes for ages 3 through 18 in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and creative movement.

Dance Dimensions began in September of 1978. It was originally called Kendall Dance Studio because it was located in the Kendall school district of Norwalk, Connecticut. In 1985 the studio moved to Main Street under the name of Dance Dynamics, then, just two years later, became known as Dance Dimensions. In 2009, Dance Dimensions celebrated its thirtieth anniversary teaching the art of dance and has been at its current location of 15 Cross street since January, 2015.

Our featured dancers today are Leia, Gabby, and Haidi! These three dancers will be performing in a trio for the very first time! Their trio is to two songs from Waitress the musical. They’ve loved getting to play characters and work with props!

Five days!! And dress rehearsals start tomorrow!

Today we are featuring Rida, Gianna, and Lily! These three middle school dancers take every class that is offered to their age group, meaning you’ll see them in 7 pieces in Saturday’s show! These girls also mentor many of the younger dancers that you can catch in our matinee! Bravo, dancers!

7 Days until Showstoppers!!!

We’re featuring a dancer or dance from our upcoming show every day between now and recital day!

Today we’re spotlighting student and teacher, Isabella! You’ll be able to see Isabella’s choreography in 4 of our show-stopping pieces on Saturday! She brings so much creativity to the dance floor and is beloved by all of her students! We can’t wait for you to see Isabella’s pieces!

Happy Birthday to Elite Staff member Alice, aka “Your student teacher’s student teacher.” This is Alice’s 20th year at Dance Dimensions, and throughout that time she has taught so many of our dancers (you might spot some familiar faces in some of these pics.) These days, Alice runs the photoshoot series for our older dancers and has choreographed five pieces for our upcoming show! Thanks, Alice for your commitment to Dance Dimensions over the years!
