2025 Season recap

Brayden - While 2025 did not seem as successful as 2024, the results were still very good. 5 wins in 8 final round appearances through out the season. Resulting in Back-to-Back track Championships at both Summit Motorsports Park and Dragway 42!

Abbi - Her first year in 8.90 class was a learning curve. Abbi finished 11th out of 25 racers at Summit Motorsports Park. She had more success at Dragway 42 with 1 win in 3 final round appearances. Resulting in a 4th place finish in points out of 11 racers.

Bentlee - Bentlee's first year running points had some ups and downs. He achieved his first two race wins in the same weekend along with 2 runner up finishes on the season. Summit Motorsports Park points series did not have good results with a 7th place finish out of 11 racers. Bentlee had a high stakes final in the last race of the year at Dragway 42 where a win would have resulted in a track Championship. Bentlee was unfortunately red giving a runner up finish and a 2nd place finish in points out of 5 racers.

The team is looking forward to a successful and challenging 2026 season. Brayden is moving up to 7.90 class while Abbi and Bentlee will still compete in 8.90 and 11.90.

A couple weeks ago we were asked to bring the jr dragsters to our local Elementary school for a program organized by the librarian. Bentlee enjoyed showing off his car to all his classmates and the rest of the school.

It's been and busy and exhausting last couple weeks to the racing season.

Three weeks ago August 16 & 17 we had race #7&8 at Dragway 42. Highlights of the weekend was Brayden getting his first win of the season at Dragway 42 Saturday.

Two weeks ago August 23 was the season championship at Summit Motorsports Park. The only highlight of the event was Brayden won enough rounds to secure back to back track Championships at Summit Motorsports Park!

That brings us to this weekend where we finish the season at Dragway 42. Abbi has struggled this year finding her spot on the tree. That continued this weekend and she was only able to make a couple rounds Saturday. Bentlee did well and Saturday until the semis where he missed the tree and couldn't get the win. Sunday Bentlee was able to drive well and make his way to the finals where is red lit and took runner up. Brayden ended up with a great showing on the weekend. Despite being .000 red first round Saturday, he bought back and made his way to the finals to take a red light win. Sunday Brayden again made his way to the finals for another red light win.

2025 has had some ups and downs but has been fairly successful for the team. We couldn't do it without the help and support from alot of family, friends and our great sponsors!

It has been a disappointing season for Brayden with a combination that has just not been the same as last year, a broken motor, multiple engine combinations, a loss of all confidence and finally back to the original combination that was just not right. After some big changes this week, we finally found something that worked. Brayden was able to put together a good string of lights while having a car that repeated and found himself and his Sweitzer's Performance Center, Right Trailers Motorsports jr dragster back in the winner circle!

Abbi also had a great car this weekend. She was able to make a good run first round, but missed the tree 2nd round for the loss.

Bentlee's car also got some big changes this week. The changes showed to work out pretty well. Unfortunately Bentlee missed the tree first round and couldn't get a win light.

The team is excited for the remaining couple weeks of racing and hope to finish strong.

This weekend was Noght Under Fire at Summit Motorsports Park. Brayden at Bentlee qualified for the shootout race in their classes. Brayden got to second round and turned it red. Bentlee snuck into the finals and got to race in front of the packed house. While he was not able to win, we were all excited he even made it. It was so cool to see all the University Hospitals people cheering him on, along with the three Air Med helicopter employees coming over and asking for a picture. It's exciting to represent UH and give them all something to to be excited about while they are at the track taking care of people when needed.

We spent this past weekend at US131 Motorsports Park for the Jr Dragster Bonanza. We wanted to go somewhere to do some testing and this was probably our best option due to weather forecasts. Brayden was trying to break a slump he had going. If anything this weekend showed he still struggles to pull in the lanes correctly. He was able to make some good runs and learn a couple things.

Abbi and Bentlee were each able to win a couple rounds each day.

This coming weekend Brayden and Bentlee will be racing at the Night Under Fire at Summit Motorsports Park.

Not alot to say about our trip to Bristol last week. This year has been a struggle. We arrived Tuesday and Brayden made a couple decent runs on Wednesday, but did not turn on a win light. Random decision was made Wednesday night to make a motor change since we were going to get 3 time trials before the main event. Rain came and cut us down to 2 time trials on Thursday. On the first run the car stumbled then spun. After several changes, the second run went ok. First round of ECF Brayden turned it red and ended the Bristol adventure.

Our plan was to take this next weekend off to regroup, but it looks like we need to get back out there.

This past weekend we went to Dragway 42 for two points races. Results for the team were all about Bentlee getting his 1st and 2nd wins. That's right, Bentlee won Saturday and Sunday! He did great all weekend on the tree, and showed he can be focused and competitive. The crew chief looked like he had some sort of a clue also (it was mostly luck). But we are super proud of Bentlee and his accomplishments. Bentlee was also happy to share the finals with his buddy Brendan, which has had a great season thus far. Pretty sure hanging out of Brendan all weekend helped him.

Abbi made a couple rounds both days. The crew chief has some work on helping her dial in the car, but Abbi has been doing a great job.

Brayden probably had the worst weekend of the season. We have struggled with his car ever since hurting his motor. This weekend we experimented with a different setup. While we were able to slow down a big motor, it was not comfortable for Brayden and resulted in a couple mistakes.

This weekend we were at Summit Motorsports Park for the NHRA National Event. We spent our timing displaying our cars, representing our sponsors, talking with fans, handing out Hero cards, signing autographs and letting kids sit in our cars. We even had an opportunity to make a pass in front of the crowd. It was alot of fun, but very hot!

We are back on track next weekend at Dragway 42 for another important weekend of points races.
