Last night was full of highs and lows at the track. Barely made it for hot laps. It made it out and the car felt ok but made a couple changes before the heat race. Started P5 and raced to finish 2nd against some really tough cars so I was on a high going across the finish line. And the TECH came up! At nobody’s fault but my own the driver side wheelbase was 1/2” to long and was docked 2 spots. Fortunately that still made the invert for the feature. Got to our pit stall and measured ourselves just to check and sure enough the tech guy was correct. Got that fixed for the feature where started P5 again. They reworked the track before our feature and let us have some hot laps and wow immediately knew the change helped the car and likely has been the issue we have been fighting all year so far. Green flag drop didn’t drop back but was racing in the top 5 until 6 laps to go and unfortunately got collected in a wreak that ended our night while running 4th. We will get it back together and be back even better. Thanks to everyone that helps the 66 go in circles.
