🩷Sunday Spotlight has arrived!🩷

Everyone meet Hazel, our current Assisted Mini Reserve Champion! Hazel is new to New England Rodeo as of this season but don’t let that fool you! She’s won a few races with us so far and is climbing her way to the leaderboard aboard her horse “Ducky.” She is also a 2026 finalist for the Assisted Mini Division so be sure to follow her along as she competes for the Champion Title🐴

“Hazel is a 4 yr old homeschooler who loves all things horses. She has worked with her mom on barns all over and started riding before a year old. She now competes in the leadline-assisted division on her aunties horse “sink or swim” or as we call him ducky!

She comes from a 4 generation rodeo family with everyone heavily involved! Her uncle Cody rides bulls in the pro division currently for NER.

She looks forward to learning more in the years to come and navigating the rodeo ring on her own in the future!”

💙 Please Help Support Evan’s Recovery 💙

Yesterday, during our 7 PM performance at the Caledonia County Fair, we had a very scary moment when bull rider Evan suffered significant injuries while dismounting from Iron Man.

Evan was transported to a hospital in Vermont, where he remained overnight. He suffered a broken eye socket, cheekbone, and roof of his mouth, along with a concussion. His teeth are also misaligned, and he will need surgery to reset his cheekbone.

Evan will be unable to ride for at least two months while he focuses on healing and recovery.

Behind every cowboy is a family, and Evan is no exception. He is a devoted husband, father to three children, and has a baby on the way. ❤️

Thankfully, Evan was wearing his helmet, which most likely saved his life. We are incredibly grateful that, despite the severity of his injuries, he is here with his family and on the road to recovery.

We are asking our rodeo family, friends, and supporters to please keep Evan and his family in your thoughts and prayers and, if you are able, consider helping support them during this difficult time. Every little bit can make a difference as Evan faces surgery, medical expenses, and time away from work and riding.

Rest up, Evan. Take the time you need to heal. We’ll see you back in the arena when you’re ready! 🐂❤️
