Earl, Dad, Grandpa or good ol' "Stumpy". With heavy yet full hearts the S&G family is sad to announce that this morning he passed away peacefully. We were so blessed to have had him in our lives. And we know he loved the company of all the customers.

One thing we know for certain, he is already sitting in one heck of a hunting spot aiming down sight on a massive buck.

We want to thank our customers for their patience over this past week. We have been doing or best to keep our shelves stocked. We like being able to brag our regular customers are better than yours! Thank you for understanding that many of the current shortages and delays are out of our control. We just got 9mm and 45 ammo in. Stop in and get it while it lasts. With these unfamiliar times we have been doing our best to keep ammo in stock. We currently have most calibers but getting replenished is difficult.

Attention customers:

As of today March 3rd, 2020 the ATF has announced that a Michigan CPL Permit is NO LONGER an exception to a NICS Background Check. The ONLY exception to a background check will be a valid Purchase Permit from your local police department. To adhere to this new law we will be conducting NICS background checks on ALL firearm sales unless you obtain a purchase permit from your local police department. This is something that all Michigan FFL dealers will be doing, not just S&G.

We just want to let our customers know about this change so they are not taken off guard when we have to run a background check even if you have a valid Michigan CPL. No gun laws have changed that will prevent you from purchasing. Just simply that we can no longer write your valid CPL information down as an exemption to running a background check. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO OBTAIN A PURCHASE PERMIT FROM YOU POLICE DEPARTMENT TO BUY A GUN. WE JUST HAVE TO RUN A BACKGROUND CHECK.
