Westchester Warriors Hockey Welcome to the 2021 Spring/Summer season for our Westchester Warriors Spring Youth Hockey Program. We couldn’t be more proud of our kids.

We are a select spring/summer tournament team made of 2004, 2005, & 2006 birth year players, playing mostly in the greater New York metropolitan area. We started the Warriors four seasons ago with the goal of finding a group of kids and parents willing to dedicate their time on and off the ice to raising funds to benefit a children’s cancer research foundation. The idea was to provide our children

with an understanding of how fortunate they are to be able to play the great game of hockey, and put that understanding into practice by using their love of the game to raise money for other children who are less fortunate. Since the inception of our program, the kids success in raising money has exceeded all of our expectations. Our first season (the summer of 2014) our 2004 Warrior players and parents raised over $ 12,000 for “A Kids Brain Tumor Cure Foundation”. In 2015 we joined forces with a new 2005 Warrior team and raised over $11,000 for the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, located in Westchester County, New York. Last year the two teams combined (2005,2004 birth year teams)raised $14,000 for the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. The teams presented a check to Karen Asch in an event held at the Hospital. The players had a chance to tour the hospital and see for themselves the benefit of their dedication to such an important cause. In 2017 we added a 2006 team to bolster our fundraising and that they did putting us already at 30k in only one month. Subject: Westchester Warriors Under New Ownership – Exciting Changes & Call for Volunteers

Dear Westchester Warriors Families,

We are excited to announce that the Westchester Warriors Ice Hockey Charity Organization is now under new ownership, led by Joseph Legato and Paradise Hockey. Our mission remains the same, to provide a competitive and charitable hockey experience while supporting important causes in our community. There will be website changes and possible redirection as Joe takes on this huge task.

As we move forward, we will be sharing updates on new fundraising efforts, tournaments, and initiatives for the upcoming seasons. However, we cannot do this alone! We need the help of dedicated families and volunteers to keep this nonprofit organization running successfully.

For the Spring 2025 season, we are looking to fill key roles, including:
• Hockey Director
• Tournament & Event Coordinators
• Fundraising & Coordinators
• Game-Day Volunteers
• Coaches & Team Managers

This is an all-hands-on-deck effort, and we encourage anyone who is passionate about youth hockey and giving back to step up and help us make this season a success. This beautiful Angels name is Esther Rebecca Faith Desrosiers. She was Diagnosed on 05/03/22 with a monster called DIPG. DIPG is a form of brain cancer that has no cure😔 on 02/12/23 this precious child gained her Golden wings and transitioned to heaven. Esther is
