🥋🏆 2026 NJ AAU State Championship — 1st Place!
I’m so happy to share that I competed in the Adult Division at the 2026 New Jersey AAU State Championship and brought home 🥇1st Place!
Being able to demonstrate on the mat the very techniques I teach my students every day — and achieving this result — means so much to me.

Not all mothers can bear to see their child lose in the combat area. 🤕😢😭😔😞😨
There is a silent pain in taekwondo that hardly anyone mentions: That of the mothers who stay in the stands, silently, watching their child enter the tapestry alone, carrying nerves, pressure and dreams. Because losing in Taekwondo is not like losing in any other sport.
There are no pretexts here. There is no one to blame. When a child loses, he feels that he failed... And the mother feels it twice as much.
Many mothers learn to applaud even if they want to run to hug inside.
They learn to smile even if they see their frustrated son, sitting in the corner, looking at the breastplate as if he had lost more than just a fight. Sports psychology specialists say it clearly: Taekwondo forms character, emotional resilience and self-control. But that growth hurts.
And the one who lives it most in silence, almost always, is a mom. Behind every taekwondo who today endures long tournaments, hard defeats and close fights, there was almost always a mother who took him to train, waited hours in the gym and told him: Losing is also part of the way.
Now the question that few answer honestly: Do you remember a defeat that marked you... and who was there with you afterwards? 🤕💔😓😔😞
