Congratulations to the members of our Women's & Men's Track Team that earned All-Big West Academic Honors!

*To earn the recognition, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, be in at least his or her second academic year at their institution and have participated in at least 50 percent of his or her team's competitions.

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - The CSUN women's track & field team scored 212 points to capture their first Big West Championship since 2012 Saturday at UC Riverside. On the men's side, the Matadors finished fourth with 94 points.

Congratulations, Olympia and our Heptathlon athletes!

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - CSUN senior Olympia Jewett outlasted teammate Shawnta Barnes to win the Big West heptathlon by a single point Saturday at UC Riverside. As a team, the Matadors picked up 28 points as Marissa Rossi was third and Marie Veale was fifth.

SEATTLE, Wash. - The CSUN men's and women's track & field squads re-wrote the record books in their final indoor meet prior to the MPSF Championships Saturday and Sunday at the Husky Classic and UW Open Invitational at Dempsey Indoor.

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Nine CSUN pole vaulters will ring in the 2015 indoor track & field season as the Matadors travel to Reno, Nev. for the annual Pole Vault Summit at the Reno Livestock Events Center.

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - CSUN track & field head coach Avery Anderson has finalized the Matadors' 2015 schedule which opens Jan. 10 with the first of five All-Comers Meets.

The 4x100 relay team of Le'Shel Vines, Hafsatu Kamara, Lexis Lambert and Marie Veale ran a season-best 44.72, the fifth-fastest time in school history, to grab third-place in heat three which ensured a top-12 finish and a ticket to Eugene!!

On the final day of the NCAA West Preliminary Round at John McDonnell Field, the Cal State Northridge 4x100 meter relay team advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore.

CSUN sophomore Marie Veale became the first Matador to advance out of the first round as she finished 20th in the 200 meters to advance to Saturday's Quarterfinal.
