Congratulations to Jim DeKorne on his hole-in-one yesterday. He aced the 4th hole from 125 yards with an 8 iron playing the gold tees. It’s his second career hole-in-one and was witnessed by friends Ty and Lew. This marks the 3rd ace of 2026 and 33rd overall. Way to go Jim!

A little rain couldn’t stop the Creek crew from paying their employee scramble and it was an absolute nail-biter. Two teams went head-to-head in the pouring rain, battling the elements and matching each other stroke for stroke.

After 9 grueling holes, we had a literal deadlock: a tie score of 35! 🤯

To settle the score, we shifted into high gear with a dramatic 1v1 sudden-death playoff on the first hole: Tam vs Carson K.

Tam clutched up, secured the victory on hole one, and took home the ultimate bragging rights!

Congratulations to Joe Roman on his hole-in-one last night during Kings-Men league play. He aced the 4th hole from 170 yards playing the white tees. It’s his first career hole-in-one and was witnessed by Cody Mikel, Mike McMillan, and Tom Hoffecker. This marks the 2nd ace of 2026 and 32nd overall since 2014. Way to go Joe!

🚨 COURSE CLOSURE UPDATE: WE ARE CLOSED AGAIN TODAY 🚨

Unfortunately, local air quality conditions remain in the hazardous range due to heavy wildfire smoke. To ensure the health and safety of our golfers and staff, Northport Creek Golf Course is remaining CLOSED today, Friday July 17.

We are keeping a very close eye on the air quality metrics and will post another update here as soon as conditions improve and it is safe to reopen. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

🚨 COURSE CLOSURE NOTICE 🚨

Due to hazardous air quality conditions and an AQI reading well over 500 from heavy wildfire smoke, Northport Creek Golf Course is completely CLOSED today, Thursday July 16.

The health and safety of our golfers and staff is our absolute top priority. Public health departments have advised everyone to avoid outdoor exposure, and visibility on the course is currently unsafe for play.

Pre-paid tee times will be automatically refunded.📞 Our staff is safely indoors today—if you need to reschedule a future booking, please email us at [email protected].

Despite 5.5” of rain the course is open for play today. Players should use caution on the following holes:

#1) Water is covering the cart path between white and gold tee. Stay on path and proceed slowly.

#6) Avoid collection of pine needles and marked of areas near cart path.

#8) Proceed slowest with caution on cart path to white and blue tee boxes.

#9) Avoid marked off areas near green.

Several bunkers have washed out and should be played as ground under repair.
