The Around Islesboro Race is one of the most scenic races in Penobscot Bay — a full lap around Islesboro with some of the best sailing Maine has to offer.

What makes this race especially unique is the community behind it. Bayside Village comes together every year to host the fleet, welcome sailors ashore, and even bring the food for the post-race celebration!

Hi everyone! ☀️ We could really use a few extra hands for the AIR Potluck!
We’re still looking for potluck dishes and a few grillers to help keep things sizzling. 🍔🌭
If you’re able to pitch in, we’d be SO grateful. A dish, a turn at the grill, or both - every little bit helps make the race social fun for everyone!
