Kids Camo Exchange is dedicated to Lynwood Vinson. It was Lynwood's vision that Parents have a place that they could sell their kids used camo in a family friendly setting. Dedication
As a father of two girls Lynwood always made sure his girls learned about the outdoors by taking them hunting on a regular bases. While the time spent in a tree stand with his girls was precious, Lynwood used the wh
ole experience of being with his family to create memories that would last a life time. Lynwood knew he did not have much time so he used every minute he could to spend time with his family. You see, Lynwood had a very rare form of cancer. He was first diagnosed in his teens and had put up a valiant fight for a long time. But once in his forty's the cancer started to grow faster and Lynwood lost his fight Saturday May 29th 2010. In addition to being a loving father and faithful friend, Lynwood was a visionary, an entrepreneur, a business man and an inventor always interested in helping others. After seeing how fast his girls grew out of there camo from year to year and realizing other parents likely had the same problem, he decided there should be an exchange parents could use buy and sell children’s camo. From this idea a website parents could list last year's camo on and take the money from and buy new or at least bigger clothes. Lynwood created Kids Camo Exchange. However, before Lynwood could reach his goal of helping parents, Lynwood lost his battle with cancer. As in battle when a soldier falls and drops the flag another must pick it up and keep moving forward. This is a friend’s attempt to do so. I think Lynwood would be proud of what his idea has turned into. It is our hope that you will use this website and outfit your family so you can spend that special time in the woods making lifelong memories. Lynwood had a saying that he lived by
