CONGRATS to two more teams heading to MN HS BASS State on Leech Lake in September. Grayson Gray and Zander Arroyo took 1st and Erin Klaers and Mae Berglund took 4th out of 20 in the regional qualifier. NHS had 7 other teams that fished hard and had a fun day on Cedar Lake in Faribault on Friday. These teams join Jacob Peters and Walker Sorem on Leech Lake 9/12-13.

Tough 90 degree day at Cannon Lake. Jacob Peters did get a 3.23 # largemouth and Ben Wills got a 5.36 pounder. Just missing the big fish for the tournament, by 0.11 pounds.

Due to the storms tonight, the Take a Kid Fishing event is postponed 24 hours and will happen Thursday, June 18.

Tuesday- 5 team members helped the Cannon River Outdoors Club assemble 30 tackle boxes and new rods for the kids. 2 hours of fun work!

🎣🐟 Congratulations to the Northfield High School Fishing Team on their first official tournament of the season today on Lake Pepin!

A special shoutout to the Sorem & Peters team for reeling in an impressive 2nd Place finish with a total catch weight of 11.32 pounds of bass! πŸ†πŸ‘

All teams and spectators also enjoyed a delicious meal of hot dogs, PB&J sandwiches, chips, beef jerky, and more, generously donated by Just Food Co-op. Thank you for supporting our local anglers!

The Northfield high school fishing team has 15 boats on a sunny and very calm lake Pepin today. We are in our 1st of three Bass tournaments and hoping we get some big fish. We have lots of first time tournament anglers today.
