“My time at Center Stage has taught me how to be a good teammate, build perseverance, and how much the teachers care for us.”

“This summer, I am excited to go to Vegas with the team, spend time with friends, and work at a summer camp.”
Selina:

🔹 Plans to attend Harvard College, pursuing a dual concentration in Neuroscience & Philosophy/Mathematics
Lessons from Center Stage:
“I've learned that my 'best dancing' looks different from day to day, and that sometimes, it's really important to take a step back and appreciate the bigger picture. One bad practice or feeling off-kilter for even a few days doesn't necessarily mean that something's gone wrong—just that it's important to recenter and communicate with your body. Dancing at Center Stage has taught me not to let the perfect be the enemy of the good.”
Summer plans:
“I'm excited to dance with my team at Velocity Nationals in Las Vegas and to (hopefully) wrap up my oncology research project at CWRU.”
Sophia:

“Center Stage has taught me so much about what it takes to be a part of a team. Everyone is so supportive of each other, and dancers are able to create relationships and bonds that continue to grow.”

“I am so excited to head to Las Vegas this summer and compete at nationals with my team!”

“Throughout my time at Center Stage, I’ve learned to get out of my comfort zone as a dancer. Learning to step out of my comfort zone allowed me to learn how to express my emotions through my movements and create many new friends throughout my experience as a dancer.”
Summer plans:
“I’m super excited to do many things over the summer, such as going to compete and perform at Velocity Nationals in Las Vegas, performing at recital, spending time with friends, and preparing for college.”
