(Northfield, Minn.) -- The Northfield Vipers - Minor League Football Team are saddened to announce to fans and supporters that the 2024 season has been canceled.

"We are very disappointed that we will not be able to put a product on the field this coming supper in Northfield," Team President Christopher Larson said in a statement Saturday afternoon. "Semi-pro football is a special thing, and I am disappointed that our players, coaches and staff will not be able to showcase the championship talent that our team has built."

The announcement comes after the Northern Lights Football League announced earlier Saturday at the Vipers had been voted out of their league.
