If I could tell my 25-year-old self one thing about fitness, it would be this:
Running is building your cardiovascular system while quietly breaking everything else.
I didn’t know that at 25. I thought consistency was enough. I thought the miles were doing the work. I thought discipline meant never stopping, not that I might be doing the wrong thing.
At 25, my hips were already tight. My glutes already weren’t firing. My IT band was already sending signals I wasn’t listening to.
Bar Method would have fixed all of that. Twenty-five years earlier.
