New for lesson students starting today, the first day of the Year of the Horse! Have fun expanding and improving your horsemanship with fun BINGO challenges! Earn a prize with each BINGO and complete all the challenges during your lessons throughout 2026 to earn a free lesson!

Types of challenges include:
- Scoring a hoofball goal
- Performing an obstacle course
- Going on a trail ride
- Riding ba****ck
- Setting and accomplishing a goal
- Doing a groundwork lesson
- AND MORE!

After listening to her concern for being haltered and responding with awareness of her concern, sweet training horse Kaddi grew more confident in feeling understood and came up to say good morning!

A sense of safety comes from the awareness of the herd. By communicating awareness, we can help encourage that feeling of safety, and over time, build a relationship.

"Everyone is a bit scared," said the horse. "But we are less scared together."

Connection is the foundation! Horses are such beautiful reminders of the joy, healing and power that can be found in presence.
After two weeks away due to the deep freeze, Gala and Kate shared a special greeting with one another; a true testament to their friendship!

Know a horse-crazy kid that would love the fun of summer horse camp to last all summer long? At Mustang Spirit Horsemanship, we know there’s so much to learn about horses besides how to ride, and offer opportunities for youth to gather and learn with REAL HORSES!

Join the Mustang Kids Club, where you’ll meet other horse-loving youth and participate in fun hands-on activities together to learn about horse care, herd behavior, jobs with horses, safety around horses, riding disciplines, tack and stable care, and so much more!
The Summer Session begins June 15th!

We will also be hosting a Summer Clubs Open House on Friday, May 24th from 5:30pm-7:30pm for anyone interested in the Connection Club or Mustang Kids Club to come ask questions, meet the horses, and see a close-up preview of what club membership is all about!

At Mustang Spirit Horsemanship, we know a connection with horses is a path towards deeper awareness and understanding, and offer opportunities to learn with others through the natural spirit of the horse!

Join the Connection Club, where you’ll meet others who are enthused about attunement in horsemanship and participate in hands-on activities together to learn about how to better connect with ourselves, our horses, our environment and each other!

Another successful NAWD virtual show this morning!

CONGRATULATIONS to Maggie, Lily & Abby on your beautiful rides today! And an extra congratulations to Maggie and Abby for participating in your first ever show!

I am so proud of all of you for the dedication you have to the sport, your hard work, your sportsmanship, and especially, for your care and connection with your horse and pony partners!

We will be filming one extra day before the show week ends - if you'd like to join us and enter the show, let me know!
Our filming day for the next virtual show with Western Dressage NAWD will be on June 8th/9th!

Here's what's happening with Mustang Spirit Horsemanship in May!

Monday Night Hoofball continues and will be held each Monday in May! Get your horse ready for some hoofball and join us for a fun community-building equine soccer game! Open to all MSH students and Dakota Stables boarders.

Our next Virtual Show Day will be Next Saturday, May 11th at 8am!
This is a virtual show event through NAWD which gives riders the show experience without needing to leave the home barn to get a judge's feedback on everything you've been working on with your horse! If you have not already RSVP'd and would like to participate, please contact Amanda to schedule your ride/film times!
