- enjoyment
- balancing intensity and recovery

I teach Pilates because I enjoy teaching people to connect and move their body in helpful and challenging ways - not because I think it’s the only or best way to be strong, mobile and healthy. There’s no need to just pick one thing, but I know many people for whom Pilates is the only exercise they enjoy and will stick to..that exists in every category. It’s all great, they all work. 💪🏃‍♀️🕺🚵‍♀️🤸🤺🏋️‍♀️🧘‍♂️🧗‍♀️

The thing I hate most about Pilates is the price tag. I am on a MISSION to make quality movement and fitness education more accessible to the masses and I’m hoping this helps eliminate some real barriers and get more people moving!!!

The Pilates industry is kind of a mess right now and many practices stray far from the roots of the traditional method, yet continue to exploit someone else’s name in the pursuit of profit and clout.

Different methods produce different results and I wish more teachers, certification programs and studios would be more honest about what they’re actually teaching so students can make a more informed decision on their precious investment. We can certainly use more clarity, safety and consistency in the industry.

Agrazia Studio is a contemporary Pilates studio, with both contemporary and classical equipment. We believe in teaching the classical Pilates method as a foundation for safety, building strength and mobility, and tracking progress. Agrazia also offers Functional Range Conditioning, stretch therapy and other creative movement modalities.

We also have a lot of fun ◡̈

This is stupid and I’m sick of seeing dangerous sh*t being done on Pilates equipment and people thinking it’s Pilates. We need more regulation, yesterday.

Candlestick and any other hanging inversions should be done on the Cadillac and ONLY on the Cadillac.

The irony is that this PT was complaining about a made up movement rule because it contradicts a different “biomechanical rule”.

My opinion - rules can and should always be adjusted based on the goal and who it’s for. And just because you understand biomechanics doesn’t mean you understand the Pilates system and the why’s behind the method.

I should drop this but..here we are 🙃

1) I hope you feel empowered to move in whatever way(s) you enjoy moving without feeling like you’re “not doing enough”

2) your health is not doomed if you don’t weight lift. strength and mobility can be achieved in many different ways

3) real Pilates is extremely misunderstood and the PT/franchise industries have had a massive influence on the modern day adaptations that feel “low-impact” or “low-intensity”

4) you’re not fragile, challenge yourself and KEEP MOVING
