Heal Through Love https://linktr.ee/mylittlefriends I have had the privilege every day of helping others who find themselves longing for something more. I chose love.

Feeling this tug, ignited perhaps by the death of a loved one, loss of self, work, health, and other experiences life can show us. I have been in that place, with a myriad of life challenges. They included, but were not limited to big career changes, divorce, family struggles, weight issues, depression, and the tragic death of My Person. My life crumbled to an unrecognizable shell of what it was.

In my darkest hour, I was completely broken open. In that vulnerable broken place, my wonderful story begins. Love of all that was and most powerfully, my love of self. Life was never the same. I look forward to supporting and walking with you as you explore all the love that is here for you,on your journey.

This, my friends ~ is an Armenian Cucumber I grew. 🥹💗
The second picture is the rest of my harvest this morning.

I am in total awe of this process.

Planting a seed in the ground.
Watering it twice a day, which is meditative to me.
Talking to it…. “grow baby grow ~ because I love you”
Pulling weeds to protect its roots from distress.
Spraying it with organic homemade remedies I have learned so much about to ward off insects and pests.

Only to be rewarded with a 31 inch cucumber 🥹

It’s amazing and so rewarding.

Today we had cheese tomato and cuke sandwiches for lunch with bread from Jones Creek Farm | Midway Farm Stand

How did I live 65 years and not understand this joy.
I have really come to really appreciate the term
“you don’t know what you don’t know” ..
and I am very happy that now I know.

Two greeting cards.
What’s the big deal?

It’s the very biggest of deals EVERY single time.

Each one unique to the me and the people I have the privilege of serving in this way.

The stories these two wonderful humans offered about the intended recipient of each card expanded my heart like nothing else can.💗
Tears of understanding, connection and hugs were shared ~ the magic between us “sparkled” in those moments.

My tears are always of deep gratitude for them. That someone “gets” me and my art and my intention to offer love and support through My Little Friends.

Theirs are for sharing a deep, moving and sometimes painful story or experience for themselves or someone they love…. and together we connect in that magical space and a “sparkle” moment occurs, of the heart. 💗

So yes… maybe it was just two cards, but each time a new friend is made.
Gratitude is shared.
And our hearts expand.
Love is present.

We all tend to focus on the things that have to get done.
It’s an understandable thought process.
But if we’re not mindful, we can let those things crowd out the parts of life that make us really happy.
It’s a practice.

I’m sure that’s why Estelle’s message resonates with so many of us because we all have the same challenge.

Her reminder is a powerful one.

It’s a habit to cultivate.
For yourself.
Because there is always time ~ always.
We must make it a priority, like we do other things and people.
Make yourself, your happiness and your time, a priority today ~ don’t focus on how long, just do it.
A walk around the house.
Read two pages in a book.
Pop into your favorite thrift shop for half an hour.
Cook a favorite dish.
Sit and look at a pretty view.
Close the bedroom door~ set a five minute timer ~ close your eyes and breathe. Alone.

Think of Estelle right there next to you. Cheering you on. 🥹

The feeling provides the connection to your heart space.
Where love resides.

For yourself.
The people in your sphere.
And the world you live in.

Stories about how “My Little Friends” touch hearts are my greatest treasure.

This little girl put a sticker of Franny on the window in the car and played with the button to make her go up and down…sometimes disappearing completely only to come back up 🥹

The family sold the vehicle ~ and as the customer shared, there was a lot of heartbreak… but Franny is back in her rightful place again and all is well. 💗
