4-H States is in the books and we are pleased with the rides and results of all of our riders this long weekend! We had Rowan and Tessa in for their Ranch Riding 14-18 class on Saturday and they had some tuff competition and we were all pleased with both Rowan and Tessa on a well executed class. On Sunday we had Brielle and Stormy, and Ziva and the Dude in Beginner Western Horsemanship and they both shined bright today! Ziva and Dude earned a 3rd place ribbon with Brielle and Stormy earning 4th what amounted to be 26 riders!! And they were not done. On to Beginner Western Pleasure class with 26 in the class and Brielle and Stormy earning 4th and Ziva and the Dude earning a 7th place finish! Outstanding for all riders and there were some tears from riders and the boss! Congratulations to our team and to all of the competitors today! Glad to be home safe and sound and sleep in a comfy bed! We have work to do and are looking forward to next year!! Congratulations Team AppyNormal and big shoutout to all the help we had this weekend to make all of this happen !

KA Performance Horses is attending the PA State 4-H Horse Show in Harrisburg! Team AppyNormal is ready to show! Ziva and Dude started the show off in Showmanship last night. Ziva had a great pattern and the Dude was in the zone but one little bobble and they were knocked out of top 10 finish. Competition is tough so we must be on our A game for each class. Saturday, Rowan and Tessa are in for their Ranch class and on Sunday Brielle and Stormy and Ziva and Dude are in for their Western classes! Best of luck to Northampton County and all the competitors at this years show!

After our 4-H districts show on Saturday, team Appy Normal was back in the ring at MD performance horses Sunday show! Excellent competitors is every class and as it is said, iron sharpens iron, and that holds true for this show. The ranch classes are huge and Rowan and Tess show their skills in all the classes they are in with there placings. These two are also ones to watch in the showmanship classes. Rowan and Tess have put a lot of hours in honing their skills and it has paid off! Briella and Stormy had a really good go in all the riding classes and showmanship. These two have also put in the hours and it shows! Ziva and the Dude were on a mission today. Coming off of two great placings at districts these two kept it going! With a nice go in trail and showmanship, Ziva and Dude were in the zone with the riding classes and won all 4 and they earned the grand champion ribbon for the beginner western! All the hours of training are paying off for this team! Congratulations to all our riders! So, so proud of what each of you have accomplished this show season! And shoutout to Rowan and Tess for yet another awesome flying lead change today! We know how hard the two of you have been working to perfect this and you are doing great!

What a weekend for team Appy Normal and KAPH! Saturday was our riders 4-H district at the Montgomery County show grounds which was the next step to the 4-H State show in Harrisburg in October. And we are proud to say the our three riders are all headed to States! They all had tough competition in their classes and turned it on and earned the right to show there stuff at States! And we are all so very proud of them! The hours of training, the showing to hone those skills, and there dedication to their horse paid off on Saturday! Congratulations team Appy Normal!
