Big thanks go out to the whole McGinnis Motorsports crew for helping us get the car back together for this weekend of racing. Cale, Gavin, Heather and Gary are awesome people! Special thanks also goes out to Terry Taylor and Mike Lovely for all the help and support. One more Thanks goes out to Chad Sterling for pressing my wheel bearing Friday morning so I had time to get the car back together by Saturday. Couldn’t do it without all you guys! 3 races to go before we have to decide what our future plans are.

It’s Midsummer Classic 250 weekend where we get to watch some of the best late model drivers around New England go head to head for 250 laps all competing for the $10,000 prize! We’ll be Down with the Neon trying to make some more progress with the driver and the car. Should be a fun filled, action packed day of racing and we can’t wait to be there! After a few weekends off, the Riley Taylor Racing team came back with a bang! With each passing week, Riley and the car continue to improve! As previously stated, our restarts are improving, our speed is improving, and most importantly, so is Riley's confidence behind the wheel! All in all, we had a great weekend at the track! Another good experience weekend for the 43 team! Car ran well. Driver was great when taking the green and after caution laps on restarts which is what we needed to work on. Like we said, wanted to make some gains and every Saturday we get better and better! Thanks again to all those who have helped us along the way. And to our sponsor Trombly Plumbing and Heating!

**LONG POST WARNING**
Well we finally have some good news that’s been coming for 2 years now... we FINALLY started and finished a feature!! We may have finished second to last but it was a big learning experience for Riley and he has been given lots of pointers on how he can improve and become even faster in the future. The car was running very well in practice until we got tangled up with another driver and I ended up being hit in the rear end just about ripping the bumper off and bending a right front rim, so we took it to the pits and assessed the damage. Decided we were gonna do what we could to get back out there and try to make our first ever feature. I just wanna finish this post off by thanking everyone who has helped me get where I am and everyone who has lended a hand on the car. Thank you goes out to my dad Chris Taylor, grandpa Terry Taylor, uncle Tim Taylor, Gavin McGinnis, Colin Cornell, Michael James Lovely Jr., Kathryn Sterling for supporting my crazy idea😬, Todd Derrington for all his help, the other drivers who have been so helpful giving me pointers and all my friends and family for the support. Couldn’t be here without all you guys!! 😁😁
