April 29th — Final Devotion
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
2 Timothy 4:7
Today isn’t just the closing of a gym, it’s the celebration of a journey.
This space held more than workouts. It held perseverance. It held laughter between sets, quiet prayers in hard seasons, and strength that went far beyond muscles. We showed up for our bodies, yes but even more, we showed up for each other.
Just like Paul said, we fought the good fight. Some days that fight looked like pushing through a workout. Other days it looked like simply walking through the doors when life felt heavy.
And we kept the faith. In ourselves. In each other. And in the God who gave us the strength to endure.
Buildings may close, routines may change but the discipline, the courage, and the faith we built here? That goes with us.
So this isn’t goodbye.
It’s “carry it forward.”
Wherever you go next, keep showing up.
Keep choosing strength.
Keep honoring the body God gave you.
And never forget: the same strength you built here lives inside you still.
Lord, thank You for every moment shared in this place. For the growth, the friendships, and the strength, both physical and spiritual. As we step into new seasons, remind us that our true foundation is in You. Help us carry forward discipline, courage, and faith in all we do. Amen.
Freedom Fitness wasn’t a place.
It was what we built together and what we carry with us now.
