Cape Atlantic Kung Fu I (George Benner) was raised and living in New Jersey! US NAVY VIET NAM VET! to Criminal Fraud and Embezzlement for the US GOV! Shared with Public

I am a college-degreed Accountant with a previous career ranging (in the beginning) from Staff Accountant to CFO, Consulting with specialties in 501-C-3 Non-Profit Org. Long since retired from Accounting, however, I began a career in Tai Chi Chuan, in 1990, between changing careers, I worked in the casinos, while studing with Grand Master Charles Fran Farrell after having neglected a very serious

windsurfing injury for two years! UPON FINDING OUT AT THE HOSPITAL, I HAD 4 DAYS TO LIVE
- they put me on something that kept me alive a couple of days until an operating room was available! After successful surgery and 4 months of rehab-insurance stopped! I wasn't fully recovered until I searched and found other means of recovering and restoring my life! That's when I discovered Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong! I mastered Great Grand Master William CC Chen's Tai Chi Chuan along with his Sword, and his Pushing hands, as well as Professor Chen Man Ching's Tai Chi Chuan and his sword! I would like to note that when I state I mastered Tai Chi Chuan, it includes all internal alchemy, not just the body mechanics, I've kept up to date with Great Grandmaster William CC Chen's latest workshops! I studied with Great Grand Master William CC Chen's 1995 World Heavyweight Push Hands Champion Charles 'Fran' Farrell (Note! I mean really trained 7 hrs a day- 7 days a week for over 10 years, and continued for many years after, including having to stand for 1-3 hours in Tai Chi Chuan postures and postures of other internal systems daily
until his passing recently in 2018! GrandMaster Farrell had an 8th-degree black belt in Ed Parker's Kenpo Karate, and Fran was a Shaolin Master! My Master Farrell had studied in China, at the famous Xi Yuan Hospital with Dr. Xu
Hong Tao, Medical Director of the Qigong Dept. and Dr. Liu Guanjun, Chairman Qigong Dept, both personally, and was Internationally Certified from that hospital, and came back to the USA and taught me everything he was taught there!! I continued training with Grand Master Farrell until his passing in 2018! Fortunately, he and I co-hosted a highly successful TV show for 2 years, live 3 days a week teaching Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong. I also further developed my abilities and expertise in Medical Qigong, Yichuan, Wuji (the Martial Art) and reached what some people say is the highest level in Martial Arts and Qigong--Ling Kong Jing! I teach group lessons, corporate wellness programs, and private lessons, alternative energy healing ranging from stress, pain, COPD, PTSD AHDD, Pre-Operative and Post-Operative Cancer to the removal of cysts! As of this edit, I have 36years of Medical Qigong experience and in the previously mentioned Martial Arts! As of this edit on 09/21/2025, I still train, personally, 2-3 hrs daily! Although many people refer to me as Master, I don't consider myself that because I am a student for life, of discovering something today, that wasn't there yesterday! Being a Master-Is just the beginning!

πŸ’š The greatest battle is often within ourselves.

🧘 "We are in control. Not the ferocious attacker, not even death and dying; whether we react to those things with terror or with harmony it is up to us."
β€” Cheng Man Ching

Tai Chi reminds us that while we can't control everything life brings our way, we can choose how we respond. With daily practice, we learn to replace fear with calm, tension with relaxation, and reaction with harmony.

That transformation doesn't happen all at once. It grows through each practice, one breath and one movement at a time. Over the years, those small moments of choosing harmony can change the way we experience life.

πŸ₯‹ Looks can be deceiving... even to a shark! πŸ¦ˆπŸ˜„

Tai Chi practitioners have long heard the saying:

"Cotton on the outside, iron on the inside."

It reminds us to relax unnecessary muscular tension while developing structure, stability, and strength from within.

Sometimes the best way to remember a Tai Chi principle is with a little humor.

Have you heard this saying before? Share your thoughts in the comments!

πŸ’™ There was a time in my life when I wondered if I would ever feel like myself again.

For years, I struggled with panic attacks and anxiety.

Many of you know me as someone who has practiced Tai Chi every day for more than 32 years. What you may not know is that there was a time when simply going to a restaurant, standing in a checkout line, or even driving home could feel overwhelming.

I've recently updated one of the most personal articles on Tai Chi Daily and shared my journey more openly than ever before.

Tai Chi became one of the many tools that helped me recover, but the biggest lesson I learned was never to give up.

If you know someone who is struggling with anxiety or panic attacks, I hope you'll consider sharing this article with them. It may be exactly what they need to read today.

πŸ’Ž The greatest treasure isn't found... it's earned through daily practice.

"Daily practice is the key to the health benefits you desire."

"Discover the treasure."

Tai Chi offers so many wonderful benefits for the mind, body, and spiritβ€”but you don't discover the treasure all at once. It comes a little at a time.

Each practice session is another step on your journey toward better health.

Every movement.
Every breath.
Every day.

Over time, those small daily efforts become something truly valuable.

✨ Daily practice... it's a lifestyle.

πŸ’¬ What has been the greatest treasure you've discovered through your Tai Chi practice? Let's encourage, learn, and grow together.
