The Kayak Fishing Times

The Kayak Fishing Times The Kayak Fishing Times is a complete resource for Kayak Anglers. It’s a web resource, with a monthly newsletter and a community built in!!! We have that too.

Welcome to The Kayak Fishing Times! What you have in front of you, is the beginnings of a complete resource for Kayak Anglers. It’s a web resource, with a monthly newsletter to keep you up to date on all the latest happenings in the kayak fishing world. How is TKFT different from other sites? TKFT is an informational resource that provides you with the means to find launch sites all over the count

ry, a kayak database to help you research and compare kayaks by the criteria that you choose like; legroom, weight capacity and more on just about any fishing kayak. We have local info about your neck of the woods, or a vacation destination. Fishing reports, along with articles that contain what you need to know about kayak fishing, and most importantly, a new kayak fishing community, ( it will look familiar), so we can gather in one place to share ideas, fish stories, events, and everything else we all love about our sport! You can find some of these things in various places, but we, as I’m sure you are, are tired of going to a bunch of sites to find what we need to know. You will be able to do it all here on TKFT! We’ve assembled a team of talented and passionate kayak anglers, (and some who are not quite there yet, but are catching up fast!), who contribute to this site via informative articles, blogs, gear reviews, along with their individual character. Oh, and what a bunch of characters!! Hey, we enjoy kayak fishing together, laughing, busting chops, participating in events whether it’s at tournaments, or a just for fun Jamboree, seeing our kayak fishing friends, and enjoying life in our little plastic boats. It’s about fishing, having a good time, and being good friends! We’re looking to make it as easy as possible for everyone to find the information needed to get out there and catch fish! We’re bringing all of these elements together in one place. Going to surf launch? Find out what the wave height is today. Looking for some new places to fish? Check out our launch locator with maps and directions, along with geo-targeted articles about that area. Going on vacation, or looking for some local knowledge? Find someone in our community from the area you want to fish. Look for new people to fish with in the same place. Need weather or tidal reports? Anyway, the bottom line is we want this to be the place where everybody comes to when they need to know something in and out of our sport! We will need your help in creating and growing this community. Stop by, register, check it out, and contribute whatever you like. Invite your friends; share your thoughts on kayak fishing, gear, trips, where the sport is headed, and how we’re going to make it what we want. We want your reviews of all the stuff you use, whether it be a new kayak, or a great piece of old gear that just keeps on going! You have the ability to review every item on this website and ultimately YOUR review is calculated into the overall outcome of the products we feature. This means that these reviews will be based on not just our opinions, but yours as well!!! We want what you have to offer, as well as offering you what we’ve assembled and want to share. Please see our FAQ page for a tutorial about what these features do and how you can improve them. Let’s do this together and make it great! Please keep your posts PG-13 and have a great time!! Tight lines, everyone………….it’s gonna be a helluva ride!.................FISH ON!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a combination of BassYaks, TKFS, and a motor mount kit our customer purchased. This project began as a kit with PVC pole steering that just wasn't going to cut it. One of those jobs you accept in Nov/Dec.

With the help of Steve at BassYaks, Seaflea, Gene, and many labor hours, she turned out really nice. Mods listed in the pics.
