Well, as this last day of October comes to an end, so does my time at HMS.
I cannot thank Richard and Susan Hearn enough for everything that they have done for me over the past 7-1/2 years. It’s immeasurable.
I would also like to thank every single person that has been involved with the team while I’ve been here. The list is way too long to post, but you know who you are.
The friendships and memories that I have made will always be held close to me.
As a team, we have celebrated successes and fought through challenges but always gave it our best. I am honored to have been a part of that.
I’m not sure what the next chapter in my life will bring, but I hope it’s as memorable and exciting as the last.

The Hearn Motorsports family is truly saddened to learn about the passing of a Racing Legend. Runne was responsible for so many racer’s success throughout the years, including us here at HMS.

His dedication to the Sport, other competitors, and his racing family is nothing short of exemplary.

Another hero joins powerboat racing’s hall of legends.

We extend our sincere condolences to the entire Runne family.

Our year of what’s going to happen next continued this past weekend in Brockville! Thankfully Paul is okay after his spills. We did have some success with a couple heat wins. Fred took the win in Sunday B final and Donny Allen took 2nd in the A final! While most the team was in Brockville the GP-14 was at the Madison Regatta. Some strong runs but ended the weekend with a hurt motor. The entire HMS crew is hard at working making sure all 5 boats are ready to go for the Régates de Valleyfield where we hope we have passed through all of our bad luck!

All in all a great weekend at the Guntersville Hydrofest. Paul Barber took the cake this weekend with a 3rd place in the final! Donny Allen finished 4th! The GP-14 was unable to make the call for the final!
