Hunters, this is your reminder that TODAY marks the start of the third round of resident and nonresident antlerless license sales AND the start of DMAP permit sales.

Beginning at 8 a.m., hunters can purchase remaining antlerless licenses in any WMU on a first come, first served basis, in person and online.

Hunters can also purchase DMAP permits, which are also available on a first come, first served basis.

Please keep in mind, hunters are responsible for having their DMAP unit number or landowner coupon in order to purchase permits. DMAP permits are available to residents ($10.97) and nonresidents ($35.97).

Spot a turkey, submit your sightings!

If you spot wild turkeys this summer, report your sighting NOW through August 31, using the Game Commission’s wild turkey sighting survey: pgcforms.pa.gov/TurkeySightingSurvey/

Your submitted observations help state biologists monitor turkey reproduction and population trends. Rest assured, sighting locations are kept confidential and used only for conservation purposes.
