Originally located at 308 Oliver Street in North Tonawanda. We've always been here in North Tonawanda, as we love our community. Making a single location our sole focus lead to the success of over 15,000 students over a wonderful 49 year history. After almost 50 years of dedicated service to WNY,
our community and the Martial Arts -
Grand Master David Thiele passed the school down to Master Dustin

Prescott. Long time student, instructor and friend. Master Prescott has trained Martial Arts for 20 years, Disciplines including: ITF TaeKwon-Do, Sambo, Judo, Jujitsu, Arnis, Forms of Karate, Systema and Catch Wrestling. This makes our Academy a technically diverse powerhouse. PMAA was officially established in 2019. The Legacy continues with new energy, enthusiasm and a passion that cannot be missed. "I started my Martial journey because of my father. He trained with GM Thiele at the original location and that sparked a love for this way of life, for life. Growing up it quickly became my passion as well. Starting as a lover of old Black Belt Magazines and Jackie Chan films, to a student, to an Instructor, to now school owner has been an amazing journey. I can confidently declare that many, if not most of the best memories of my life so far have been because of the Martial Arts. I have been able to meet so many wonderful people and families, I've been able to travel to teach, train and hang with some of the best Martial Artists in the world. My dearest friends have become family because of the Martial Arts. This has become my life and I find that beautiful. My father still trains with me and is a Black Belt here, My brother is a Black Belt and now my Wife is a Black Belt. I look forward to you becoming part of the PMAA Clan, keep kicking."

FEEL GOOD FRIDAY.

I'm very blessed to have come up here. The experiences I've had growing up in a professional martial arts school, with so many amazing Instructors/ Mentors changed my life.

The guidance from GM Thiele, GM Park, GM Heisner, Master C, Master Patterson, Master Burg and many, many others. Inspired my journey from student to school owner. The hardest of times, with bleak motivation - they set me straight!

It all started with my first class. Now running my own school, I am presented with plenty questions about how to start. I've heard everything at this point. Including concerns, misconceptions and excuses.

"what do I need?" - show up to your first lesson.

"But I don't have any experience" - show up to your first lesson.

"I'm not in good enough shape" - show up to your first lesson.

"I have bad coordination" - show up to your first lesson.

"feet freak me out" - show up to your first lesson... and wear socks you weirdo.

"I can't kick like that" - show up to your first lesson.

"I could never remember all of that" - show up to your first lesson.

"This seems like a big commitment" - ...that starts with your first lesson.

FEEL GOOD FRIDAY.

True success in teaching begins by removing ego entirely. As an Instructor, I never claim my students' achievements as my own. I simply cherish the meaningful role I play in their journey - and am equally committed to protecting them from my own limitations and infuencles.

My TaeKwon-Do belongs to me. Together, we build yours.

My students arrive ready to train. They step into our Dojang, do the work, and own every part of their growth. The bag drills, the broken boards, the rolled ankles... and the pressure of every promotion. That journey is theirs alone.

My responsibility is to guide: to provide the tools, techniques, and mindset that empowers them to go get it. I serve as a steady resource of honest advice, encouragement, and hard earned experience.

I celebrate their dedication and every success that follows. I never hinder or gatekeep. The best instructors give far more than 100% - they pour everything into helping their students surpass them in skill, knowledge, and achievement.

My goal is simple: inspire the next generation not to become me, but to become more than I ever was. Let their success shine!
