This Memorial Day, the North Tonawanda National Little League honors the brave souls who sacrificed everything so that kids could run the bases, families could cheer from the stands, and communities could come together on a summer day.

The freedom to play is a gift — and we never take it for granted.

Today is the big day! ⚾

Join us Saturday, May 16 for the NTNLL Opening Day Parade & Celebration!

The parade starts at 9:30 AM. Come watch from home, set up lawn chairs along the route, and cheer on our Little Leaguers as they march to the fields.

Players and coaches participating in the parade should meet at Payne Avenue and Taber Place at 9:00 AM. Parents are asked to park in the DMV lot and walk players over to Taber Field.

After the parade, stick around for food, bounce houses, face painting, photo booth, baseball card photos, balloon twisting, lemonade, karate, a dunk tank fundraiser for Hannah Strong, and more!

Come out, support the kids, and help us make this one of the best NTNLL Opening Days yet! ⚾🎉

🎉 NTNLL Opening Day Parade & Celebration is Coming! ⚾

Join us on Saturday, May 16th, as we kick off the season with the NTNLL Opening Day Parade, starting at 9:30 AM!

Bring the family out, watch from your home, or set up lawn chairs along the route as our Little Leaguers proudly march to the fields for Opening Day.

Players and coaches participating in the parade:
Please meet at the corner of Payne Avenue and Taber Place at 9:00 AM, 30 minutes before the parade begins, so everyone can line up.

We are planning one of the biggest Opening Day celebrations we have ever had, with more entertainment, more activities for older players and teens, food, photos, and much more!

🔥 Opening Day Highlights Include:

🚒 North Tonawanda Professional Fire Department Local 1333 leading the parade. The fire truck will remain at the complex for kids and families to explore.

NTNLL families, spring season is almost here, and we have two great opportunities coming up to help everyone get ready.

First up is our Baseball & Softball Umpire Clinic this Sunday, April 19 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sportsplex in North Tonawanda. This clinic is open to anyone ages 11 and up who is interested in umpiring, whether you are brand new or coming back for another season. It is a great chance to learn the basics, build confidence, sharpen your skills, and get ready for game day. Just wear athletic clothes and closed-toe sneakers and be ready to move.

Then next weekend, take advantage of the NTNLL DICK’S Sporting Goods Shopping Event from April 24 through April 27. Families can save 20% off their entire purchase at DICK’S Sporting Goods and stock up on cleats, equipment, apparel, practice gear, and more before the season begins. We just wrapped up the first of our three CPR certification classes! Our dedicated board members and amazing coaches are already hard at work, getting everything safely prepared for an incredible NTNLL spring 2026 season. We can't wait to see everyone out on the field!

Spring Baseball and Softball registration at NTNLL closes next week on April 14. Spots are filling up fast, so do not wait to register if you want to avoid being placed on a waitlist.

We still have openings in Baseball Senior League and our new Big League Division for ages 16–19, which is a great option for players who want to keep playing during the summer after school ends or get extra time on the field before college. We also have openings in Softball Machine Pitch and Senior League.

We are also still looking for volunteer coaches, especially for divisions like Minor Softball. No experience is needed. NTNLL will provide the support and guidance you need to help kids learn, grow, and have fun playing the game.
