Being a “Diamond 🥎 Parent” is different. You sit on the those sidelines when your kids are 5. You continue to be on those sidelines into high school, then college, and then your friends finally think you will be available for a night out and they ask you to join them for an adult date night. Your answer without hesitation remains, “I can’t tonight. I’m going to my kid’s softball game.” Being a Diamond Parent doesn’t end when your children grow up and begin their own adult lives. It’s in your soul. It’s a life that you just can’t quit.

This week we lost a valuable member of the Diamond Parent Squad. Mike Allienello had very involved athletic children. He and his wife, Sue, never failed to show up. Cheering them all on. Supporting all of their teammates, and in our case, laughing along at our nonsense. As we prepare for our 2026 season, we will be saddened to not see Mike sitting behind the fence beside his best girl and love of his life, Sue. Our hearts are with The Allienello’s during this difficult time. We send them our love and prayers and wish them peace and healing. ❤️‍🩹 And we remind Sue that when she is ready, her sideline chair will be waiting for her.

We are once again bringing back “BINGO with THE BALLERS! 🥎 If you’ve played before, you know how much fun it is. If you’ve missed out in the past, reserve your seat. The prizes this year are AMAZING! We hope you will support the women of East Bay Softball.

It’s registration time! 🥎 If your team didn’t play last year, you missed out on a fantastic day featuring some amazing talent and filled with laughs and fun. Mr. Latessa was a key figure to the growth of the youth of this community. His scholarship is a way of keeping his legacy and positive influence in place for years to come.
