Camp Bobo will be happening again this July. This is open to kids 5 to 7 years old that have not attended the camp before. Explore for creepy crawlies, discover beautiful feathers, touch and feel cool rocks and enjoy the outdoors. Be like Bobo!! Limit to 15 kids. Are you still looking? The Great Glass Quest is still happening at Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve, Newton Hills State Park and Good Earth State Park at Blood Run. There are a few left out in the park. Should be a nice week to take a hike and explore! Hope to see you at the park soon!

Ladies Night Archery - Thursday, June 18 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Little Naturalist Program - Friday, June 19 at 10:00 a.m.
Cooking with Randy - Saturday, June 20 at 5:00 p.m.

Have you made your history yet in South Dakota State Parks? It is suppose to be a beautiful weekend to take an adventure. Come to Adams Homestead, take a selfie by our entrance sign, explore your challenge, and take a selfie with one of our Sonny's Acres animals. Hope to see you at the park soon!

Welcome to Species of the Week!

Can you find our critter for this week? This is a Gray Tree Frog and they are masters at camouflage. These nocturnal frogs may be hard to see but out at Adams Homestead you can definitely hear them. If you walk around the lake in the evening listen for their song, it sounds like chirping.
