Scituate Middle School had quite the showing this weekend! 💪🔥
🥇 Independent wrestler from North Smithfield Middle School, Savannah Grover, dominated the 160 lb bracket and brought home 1st place! We’re proud to call her one of ours as she continues to represent both her school and the Spartan family.

🥈 Captain Michael Bruni battled his way to the finals at 126 lbs, finishing as a State Finalist and earning a well-deserved 2nd place finish.

🥉 Captain Cameron Rambone faced defeat on Day 1 but refused to stay down. He fought his way back through the consolation bracket, grinding his way to a hard-earned 3rd place finish.

Resilience. Leadership. Heart.

Today we’re cheering loud for one of our own — Savannah Grover — as she hits the mat in the Girls 160 lb bracket! 💪🔥

Savannah may represent North Smithfield Middle School, but she’s family to us. She trains with our Spartans, pushes our room to be better, and shows up with grit every single time she steps on the mat.
Now she’s battling for a spot on the podium — and we know she’s ready.

Cole had a busy day at Middle School Varsity States. After advancing to the Round of 16 via a first-round bye, he battled his way through a tough bracket and fought hard in every match.

He picked up a strong consolation win and kept grinding, showing the toughness and determination we’ve come to expect from him.

Yesterday marked the end of Cole’s middle school wrestling career. 💙

We’re proud of the work he’s put in, the growth he’s shown, and the way he has represented SMS on and off the mat. The next chapter is waiting — and we can’t wait to see what he does at the high school level.

Caleb stepped onto the mat at Middle School Varsity States ready to battle. After receiving a first-round bye, he faced tough competition and fought hard in every match.

The bracket was unforgiving, and his journey came to an end on Day One — but not without effort, toughness, and heart. He showed up, competed, and left it all on the mat.

That’s what being a Spartan is about. 💪

Cameron ran into tough competition in the quarterfinals against rival Nick Uhrig. It was a hard-fought match against one of the top wrestlers in the bracket.

That’s not where his story ended.

Cameron came back with something to prove in his next match, wrestling with intensity and purpose. He battled through the consolations and earned his spot in Day Two. 💪🔥

Levi is back for Day Two, ready to keep his state championship journey going strong! After a tough quarterfinal loss, he didn’t let it stop him — he’s digging in and working his way back through the consolation bracket with all the heart and hustle we know he has.

He’ll face a small but competitive bracket today, and we’re confident he’ll leave everything on the mat as he battles forward. This is what Spartan wrestling is all about!
