Thank you for the early mornings, the long tournament days, the endless loads of laundry, the support through every win and loss, and for always showing up for your wrestlers.

Our Final New England Qualifier: Senior Captain Jackson Bowden

Our last Spartan competing at New Englands was Senior Captain Jackson Bowden, who faced some tough competition early in the tournament.

Jackson’s wrestling career at Scituate has been defined by leadership, grit, and heart. As a captain, he has been someone his teammates could rely on—setting the tone in the room and leading by example every single day.

While this marks the end of his high school wrestling career, Jackson’s journey in the sport is far from over. He will be continuing his wrestling career next year at Liberty University.

We are proud of everything Jackson has given to this program and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes at the next level.

Next up in our New England Qualifiers: Freshman Michael Newton

Freshman Michael Newton made his New England Tournament debut this weekend, stepping onto one of the toughest stages in high school wrestling.

Michael battled hard throughout the tournament and finished with a 2–2 record, ending his run two matches shy of the podium. For a freshman competing at this level, that experience is invaluable.

This is only the beginning for Michael. With his work ethic and determination, we know we’ll be seeing him back on this stage again.

Next up: Junior Faith Dumont

Competing in her second New England Tournament, Junior Faith Dumont continues to prove she belongs among the region’s best.

Last year, Faith finished the tournament 1–2. This year she took another step forward, battling her way to a 2–2 record and finishing just one match shy of the podium.

And knowing Faith… she’s already thinking about next year.

You can bet she has her sights set on standing on that New England podium in 2027.

The work continues. 💪🤼‍♀️
