Mission: To empower individuals across the lifespan with understanding, motivation, skills, and active engagement to improve their quality of life. Philosophy: To offer a holistic approach on one’s Health and Wellness journey. “Get your mind right and your body will follow!” (mw) Wellness integrates the balance of physical, emotional and spiritual vitality that evolves over a lifetime. I am the
way I am because of the way I used to be. I served in the United States Air Force for 6 years. With the pregnancy of my daughter I decided to separate from the military. My weight has always been in the "normal" range EXCEPT for during my pregnancies- I gained about 85 pounds with my son, leaving me at 265 lbs and gained 65 lbs with my daughter, leaving me at 245 lbs. I lost the extra weight from my son with the help of the Health & Wellness Center on base (Barksdale AFB, LA). But after my daughter I had to do it alone. I used a combination of what I could remember from losing the weight the first time along with what I believed would work for me. I began eating right and moving! And this is where my new fitness journey begins. I became a Personal Fitness Trainer through AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) in 2007. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Wellness from Kaplan University in 2010. I continue to take specialty courses (senior fitness, water aerobics, floor, core & more, etc.) in order to better serve my clients. I am a motivator and educator. I will encourage and challenge you but I will do this only at your fitness level. One thing I will make perfectly clear though...I am only half the solution, YOU are the other half. You have to be accountable for your actions. With that said-- together we can accomplish any goal you set for yourself. Most of my business is from repeat customers and referrals, THANK YOU for your business and for spreading the word!
