Metta Rose Dance Academy Classical dance studio located in NE Ohio; owned & operated by Ms. Metta Rose since 1976! Ms. competes in many different competitions.

Metta Rose Campbell is the founder and owner of the Metta Rose Dance Academy. She was formally a Radio City Rockette and is the only teacher in the studio. She choreographs every dance that is seen on stage and during competitions. Every other year a production is held at Lorain County Community College Stocker Center, and on the off years M.R.D.A. Over 300 trophies, rosettes, and medals hang and decorate the studio walls.

This week’s throwback celebrates the memories made beyond the studio walls. Dance gave us so much more than time spent in the studio…

Over the last 50 years, dance has taken our studio family to so many places & experiences we’ll never forget. From special performances and community events to travel memories, backstage laughs, and moments shared together outside of class, some of our most treasured memories happened beyond the stage itself.

While the dances were always special, it was the friendships formed, the lessons learned, the confidence gained, and the memories created along the way that truly made the journey unforgettable — and that’s what made it feel like family ❤️

This year marks a huge milestone for our studio: 50 years of inspiring dancers, building confidence, and sharing the joy & love of the arts 🩰💛

There’s just something magical about a Production number 💫

The music begins… the curtain opens… and suddenly the stage comes alive with dancers of all ages moving together as one.

For 50 years, these large-scale performances have been some of the most exciting & memorable moments to grace our recital stage. From opening numbers that kicked off the show with energy & excitement to powerful finales that brought the entire cast together, Production numbers have always been a true spectacle!

With elaborate props, dynamic staging, themed costumes, and dancers of all ages & experience levels performing together, these routines captured the magic, creativity, and heart of each year’s production ❤️

More than just a dance, Productions became moments audiences remembered long after the curtain closed.
