When we say we’re more than a gym, this is what we mean.
It’s not just the workouts.
It’s not the barbells, PRs, sweat, or what happens during that one hour of class.
It’s 16 years of building relationships that go far beyond these four walls.
People have walked through our doors looking for a place to work out and found friendships, support systems, chosen family, and people they genuinely want beside them through life.
We’ve watched each other get married, have babies, change careers, lose people we love, navigate incredibly hard seasons, celebrate huge wins, and become completely different versions of ourselves.
Sometimes that means baby showers disguised as workouts.
Sometimes it means wrapping medicine balls to our bellies because one of our own is growing a whole human and obviously we’re all participating.
Because someday, these four walls may not be here.
Schedules change. People move. Life takes us in different directions. Gyms change names, locations, owners, and eventually, buildings close.
But the relationships built inside them don’t have to.
That might be the thing I’m most proud of after 16 years.
Yes, we’ve made people stronger.
Yes, we’ve improved health.
Yes, we’ve celebrated a hell of a lot of PRs.
But we’ve also created relationships that will carry on long after the last workout inside these four walls.
That’s what we mean when we say more than a gym. ❤️
