Happy last few weeks of summer!!! Most of you know it is pretty tough to get on Dave Leffew's schedule!!! Well now is the time!!! Many of his older athletes take a short break after summer season and that means openings in Dave's schedule! LOVE THIS! Dave has been traveling out west and just happened to be in Utah the same time Lauren Shaw and UCLA was playing just 30 minutes from his hotel! He got to surprise Lauren and snagged this awesome photo with her and Lisa Fernandez!!!!! Little history - when Amie was starting her career she went to a Lisa Fernandez clinic where Lisa taught her the back hand change up - which was from then on her go to pitch and what made her a hugely successful pitcher (lord knows she didn’t throw THAT hard lol)! The knowledge of this pitch was then passed to Lauren who dominates with her change up and then Lauren gets to play for Lisa Fernandez at UCLA!!! The circle of a Fastpitch family life cycle LOVE IT!
