Protecting your pup from the soaring heat requires adjusting their walking schedules.

Adjust Walk Times & Paw Care:

* The 5-Second Rule: Place the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds. If it is too hot for your hand, it is too hot for your pups paws.

* Early/Late Outings: Walk your dog in the early morning or late evening when the sun is low and temperatures drop.😎

* Protective Gear: Consider Dog Boots 🥾 to protect their pads from hot asphalt.

* Indoor Alternatives: If it is too hot, try indoor agility, puzzle toys, or visiting pet-friendly stores like The Home Depot 👍🏻 or Petco.

RubySue loves a leg up to rest on after an evening walk or ten 🤣 around the block. 😉

It was so good to see Patrick again & to meet his fiancé Kaley. This former Amazon driver went into the service, is stationed at Fort Campbell Kentucky but likes to stop in & say “hi” whenever he’s in town.
He’s got a few more months to complete then he’ll be heading into civilian life as a police officer. Best wishes Patrick on your future endeavors, may you always stay safe. 🌻
