Remember when your out fishing and you just can’t seem to find that one bait they might want, just go back 30-40yrs pick up a beetle spin or a H&H/meps just think about it for a minute before you give up you will find it

I got tackle over 20 something years old never been out of packages.. a little history:: about 20yrs ago St.Croix was a sponsor of mine, back then you help them design the rods some.. I gave away a lot of my St.Croix rods that was Bubba Ayers signature that I design and they used.. I’ll post a pic if need to.. I gave a uncle a couple of these rods back in the 90’s, he walks up to me this last week and said Bubba I still have the two rods you gave me over 20yrs ago with your name on them.. said he will never use them and very sentimental to him..I’ve got a few left.. I really need to get back on the water..when I turned 45 I slowed down a lot. It’s been tournament circuits since 1981.. I’ve won my share in the past.. my new boss told me to get back out there.. I tried to explain to him how times have changed in the tournaments..I’m done.. just fish for fun now when I go

Get some marbles, go out on the lake, put all marbles in mouth every time you get a hit or catch one, spit a marble out.. when all marbles are gone.. you lost your marbles and ready for the sport the rest of your life
