What it looks like to stick to the plan. Granted these photos are two years apart, put things into high gear only less than a year ago. Before was a slippery slope battling many demons, but not in the healthiest way. After changing the focus and putting in time, dedicated, and a tremendous amount of willpower. This guy did EVERYTHING he could do to recreate Victor into something to be proud of!

Interestingly, the Robert Frost poem "The Road Not Taken" has appeared in both of my recent audiobooks, and each time I reflect on it, I think of Eric. Eric has been achieving remarkable success lately. He has encountered numerous choices that could create challenges in aligning with his goals, yet he consistently opts for the more difficult path. His determination and commitment to overcoming obstacles have led to his success, making him a true inspiration.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

The Reverse Hyper machine was primarily developed by Louie Simmons in the early 1970s, according to Westside Barbell. Simmons, a well-known powerlifter and founder of Westside Barbell, faced a series of back injuries, including a fracture in 1973, and sought a way to rehabilitate and strengthen his back without surgery. He developed the Reverse Hyper as a means to strengthen his lower back and posterior chain, according to sci-sport.com.

Elaboration:
• Louie Simmons' Motivation:Following a back injury in 1973, Simmons explored different rehabilitation methods and ultimately developed the Reverse Hyper.
• Rehabilitation and Strength Building:The machine was designed to target the lower back, glutes, and hamstrings, strengthening the posterior chain and aiding in back injury rehabilitation.
• Early Development and Improvements:While Simmons is widely credited with the development of the Reverse Hyper, others may have also experimented with similar equipment. The machine has evolved over time, with improvements and variations being made.
• Key Features:The Reverse Hyper involves lying facedown on a padded platform and hyperextending the legs, engaging the posterior chain muscles.
• Westside Barbell's Influence:Westside Barbell, founded by Simmons, has played a significant role in popularizing and refining the Reverse Hyper, making it a staple in many powerlifting and strength training programs.
