Ladies!

Hello everyone. Hopefully you enjoyed your opening day. I have a few requests to pass on to you.

1. Jewelry and hair beads are not permitted on the fields. Taping over earrings is not permitted. Please let your parents and players know this, especially before April vacations.

2. The majority of the game changes should be complete now for the entire season. Game change requests forms should be submitted a minimum of a week in advance. The only exception is for field closures.

3. Town directors should submit game change request forms. Emails from both coaches acknowledging approval should be sent to [email protected], Changes cannot be made until both coaches have acknowledged their approval.

4. If a game change is approved, please make sure that it doesn't leave a gap in between games. Also, large fields should be scheduled back-to-back and small field games the same. Different officials frequently referee U13/U15 games than those assigned to U9/U11. There is still a shortage of referees so we need to help the assignors out as much as possible.

5. Games are assigned officials only if they are in MBGLL's master schedule. Please don't reach out to the assignors or the officials directly. They are not able to add games to the schedule.

In 2019 high school and youth girls’ lacrosse will implement several significant rule changes. One change focused directly on increasing player safety is the creation of a penalty zone.
