🚨A New Chapter Begins ❤️
After many amazing seasons, we have made the difficult decision to close the North Port Huskies youth football and cheerleading program.
This wasn’t an easy choice, but it was made with the future of our kids in mind. We are incredibly excited to announce that we are launching something even better for our community — the Wellen Park Area JR Eagles Athletic Association, starting with youth football and cheerleading.
Registration is OPEN and our head coaches have officially been announced!
We’re also thrilled to welcome an incredible group of new volunteers who are stepping up to help us take this program to the next level. With fresh energy, dedicated leadership, and a strong support team, we’re ready to create an even stronger experience for our athletes and families.
To every family, player, cheerleader, coach, volunteer, friend, and supporter who has been part of the Huskies journey — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You showed up, you cheered loud, you sacrificed your time, and you helped build something special. None of this would have been possible without you. We truly appreciate every single one of you.
We’re carrying all those great memories and lessons forward as we step into this exciting new era as the Jr Eagles. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together!
