September 5th, 2023, the day Florence, CO made the first steps in joining in on the Pickleball movement. Along with Councilman Steve Wolfe, we were able to paint two pickleball courts at Veteran-Husky Park (West 2nd Street/St Route 115 behind Jade Cafe). A portable net system will have to be used. We are so excited to be a part of this. Thanks to our friends Julie and Kelly Gunkel for helping us set the lines and to Tony and Bud for stopping by and playing the first game!
