USHJA ZONE 12 CLINIC INFORMATION!
Please join us for the USHJA Zone 12 Clinic June 22-23, 2024 at WCCEC in Anchorage, AK. Our 2024 clinician is Britt Mccormick from Texas. The clinic flyer will be available soon, but here is the pertinent information:
• Online clinic applications open June 3 at 8:00am and close June 10 at 7:59pm, Alaska time.
• Applications will be on a first come, first served basis, with payment required at time of application submittal.
• Rider must be a current USHJA member to apply. Accepted USHJA membership levels are Active/Competing, Education, and Outreach; USHJA Outreach membership is free.
• Cost is $425 for the two days, and includes the mandatory $50 stabling/grounds fee.
• A maximum of 20 riders will be accepted. All levels will be accommodated, with riders grouped appropriately.
• Approved refunds, less a $25 administrative fee, will be issued if valid doctor/veterinarian note is provided, or if over quota.
• Auditors and spectators are welcome and encouraged, no fee.

Clinician Britt McCormick has over 30 years of training and coaching experience. He has operated his own training stable (Elmstead Farm) in Texas since 1989 which is now home to Stonewall Farm. His students and horses have successfully competed at all levels of the sport.
In addition to training and coaching, Britt serves as a licensed official and holds certification as an "R" Hunter/Jumping Seat Equitation, Hunter, and Hunter Breeding judge; "R" Hunter Course Designer, "R" Jumper Course Designer; and a licensed AQHA Specialized Judge. He has served as the Jumper Technical Delegate for USHJA Championships, as an advisor to the USHJA Gold Star Clinics, and as Chef d'Equipe for Zone 7.
Britt also devotes his time to sport governance. He currently serves as chairman of USEF's National Breeds and Disciplines Council and on the National Hunter Committee. Within the USHJA, he has served on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Hunter and Jumper Working Groups, International Hunter Derby and Incentive Task Force. He is currently the 2024 president-elect of the USHJA.
