Adult Hockey League - Learn to Play

Beginner Program Meeting Date Now Set!
Monday, January 15th @ 6:30 pm at Rocky River Ice Arena.

This will be an initial meeting to discuss the program, meet members of administration, and get some forms filled out. The meeting is all off-ice, so no equipment needed on this date.

Please contact the league office if you are not able to attend the meeting or if you are not able to participate.



On-Ice Information:

The 2023-24 Cleveland Adult Beginner / Instructional program will take place this season with on-ice sessions beginning January 22nd, skating on Monday evenings @ 9:20 pm at the Winterhurst Arena.

The HNA program includes 8 on ice sessions along with 8 games against other HNA teams.

Been thinking about it for a while already and ready to sign up? It's just $25 to reserve a spot on a team roster. You can give the HNA League Office a call at 800-4-HOCKEY (800-446-2539).

2023-24 Playing Fees are as follows:

$25 Deposit - reserves a place for you on a team roster. Be sure to let us know of any friends that want to play.

Payment 2 - $175 This will be due at the initial beginner meeting, which is an off-ice meeting where you hear about the program, meet your teammates & meet members of the League staff.

Payment 3 - $175 Paid 30 days later, for a total of $375.00. The playing fee includes 16 ice sessions, instructor(s), referees, scorekeepers, and ice times.



What's not included - Ice skates, protective equipment, school jersey & your formal team jersey. At the organizational meeting we will let you know the team name, uniform, and colors. You'll also order your jersey & pick a jersey number at the meeting. You'll love it! The jerseys are very nice, and you'll love wearing the pro-calibre jersey with pride.



Uniform Cost - $150 - $160 - This will include a practice jersey with socks and a game jersey with socks.



Attached is a Beginner Equipment Checklist. Your hockey helmet must have a full cage or shield.
