Today we say thank you to .kapanke as she plays her final Blast match before heading to Iowa State to continue her soccer career at the Division I level. ⚽️❤️

Izzy represents everything that Blast is about—commitment, perseverance, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Over the past eight years, Blast has helped develop more than 20 Division I players, and Izzy’s journey is another example of what can happen when talent meets dedication.

Throughout her time with Blast, she was part of teams that captured 3 National Championships, 2 UPSL Championships, competed in TST, and earned countless regional titles. Despite often being the youngest player on the field, she consistently competed with a maturity, confidence, and presence far beyond her years.

We are incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished and grateful for the impact she has made on our club.

The next chapter begins now, and we can’t wait to watch her thrive at Iowa State.

We’re excited to announce that Coach Mo has officially been named our Boys and Girls Director of Coaching for U9-U12! ⚽🔥

Coach Mo brings incredible energy, passion, and a commitment to helping young players develop both on and off the field. His focus on technical growth, confidence, and love for the game makes him the perfect fit to lead our next generation of Blast players.

As part of this role, Coach Mo will help shape training, mentor coaches, and guide player development across our U9-U12 boys and girls programs—all while staying true to our D.R.E.A.M. philosophy.

The girls found a way despite being shorthanded, with several players unavailable as they attended their high school graduation ceremonies. The players who were able to suit up rose to the occasion, stepping up when it mattered most and leading the team to the U19 Minnesota State Cup championship.

Now, the focus shifts to Nationals in Nashville, where the team will look to accomplish something only one Minnesota team has done in recent history: win a US Youth Soccer National Championship. That standard was set by Blast in 2023, when they became the first Minnesota team in decades to capture a US Youth Soccer national title.

With another State Cup trophy secured and a trip to Nationals ahead, this group has positioned itself for a chance to make history once again and bring another national championship back to Minnesota.

With a number of Blast women’s team players out, we had to call up a few young players with becoming the youngster Blast player to ever play on the upsl team at 14 years old. She had the chance to play with her ideal a player she was just watching game tapes of a week ago. We might not be big but the experience we give our players is second to none. 70 solid minutes from a 14 year old on a women team. Well done Celia. 3-0 win.
