The cast is up. Now the real work begins. 🎭

From the moment Matilda Jr. was cast, one journey ended and a much bigger one started. Swipe through to see exactly what happens between casting and opening night: the cold read, table work, blocking, music rehearsal, and the moment individual voices become one company.

This is what a professional process looks like when it’s built for kids, run by educators, and rooted in real education every step of the way.

Matilda Jr. isn’t just a show. It’s a full education, hiding in plain sight.

Every line memorized builds vocabulary and public speaking. Every 8 count is math in motion. Every question about how a voice projects to the back row is real science. Every scene set in another time and place builds empathy and curiosity about the world.

And through it all, our students learn resilience: how to handle nerves, bounce back from a missed line, and show up for rehearsal even when it’s hard.

Singing, dancing and acting too, of course. That’s just the part everyone sees.

Swipe through to see what a full education looks like.
