Miami Surf Field Hockey Club We are a co-ed club that practices every Monday 8:30-10. Please DM for details. FIRST PRACTICE FREE! From beginners to experienced, all players are welcome!

Established in May 2007, "Surf" is an international field hockey sports club with players from all over the world now living in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach metro areas in Florida. We compete in various field hockey tournaments throughout the United States with a main focus on supporting local and regional events. The club has male and female players from different parts of the United States and other countries from South America, Europe, Caribbean, etc.

What makes this club special goes beyond field hockey.

Every practice brings together players from different countries, backgrounds, skill levels, and experiences, all connected by a shared love for the game. Some of us grew up playing competitively. Some are returning after years away. Some are picking up a stick for the first time.

What keeps people coming back is the community we’re building together. Competitive, welcoming, supportive, and rooted in connection both on and off the field.

This past weekend, our Women’s and Men’s teams competed in the South Regional Club Championship.
Both teams finished in 3rd place, with our Women’s team earning a spot at the National Club Championship in July in St. Louis.

We’re incredibly proud of this group — the commitment, growth, and resilience showed all weekend. A special congratulations to our MVPs, and , for their leadership and impact on the field.

Beyond the results, this weekend was about more than competition. It was an opportunity to strengthen relationships, spend time together, and continue building what makes this club special.

Thank you to everyone who supported along the way. We’re looking forward to what’s ahead and can’t wait to see everyone in July.

IMPORTANT: Updated Day 1 Standings

After reviewing game results, a few scores were recorded incorrectly during the day. The standings have now been updated to reflect the correct results from Day 1 of Miami Cup.

Standings are calculated as follows:
• 3 points for a win
• 1 point for a tie
• 0 points for a loss

Goal differential (goals for and against) is used as the tiebreaker when teams are level on points.

Thank you to all teams for your understanding. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and are looking forward to another great day of competition.

Miami Cup weekend is almost here and we are excited to invite you all to our annual Social.

After a full day on the turf, join us for the Miami Cup Social on Saturday night at Cervecería La Tropical. A chance to connect, celebrate the game, and spend time with the field hockey community that makes this tournament special.
